How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to Zoho CRM
Zoho CRM is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every Fluent Affiliate an affiliate registers or a referral is generated should flow into Zoho CRM automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers affiliate and referral data straight from WordPress to Zoho CRM. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Fluent Affiliate installed and configured.
- A Zoho CRM account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Zoho CRM to AFI
Zoho CRM uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho CRM, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to Zoho CRM.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.
3. Select Zoho CRM as the destination
Choose Zoho CRM from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Zoho CRM.
4. Map fields
Match each Zoho CRM field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check Zoho CRM to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Zoho CRM with unlimited referrals. Pro adds custom field mapping and lead assignment. No per-referral fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Fluent Affiliate events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated. This covers new affiliate registrations, referral creations, and commission status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the affiliate event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send affiliate data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
