How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to The Events Calendar

The Events Calendar is a event management platform. Fluent Affiliate runs your affiliate program on WordPress. The Events Calendar is where your affiliate data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Connect The Events Calendar to AFI

The Events Calendar uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → The Events Calendar, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to The Events Calendar.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select The Events Calendar as the destination

Choose The Events Calendar from the platform dropdown and pick Add Event. This creates an event in The Events Calendar.

4. Map fields

Match each The Events Calendar field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check The Events Calendar to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
