How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to Kit

Kit is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Fluent Affiliate runs your affiliate program on WordPress. Kit is where your affiliate data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why connect directly?

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Fluent Affiliate installed and configured.
• A Kit account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Kit to AFI

1. Log in to your Kit account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Kit.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to Kit.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select Kit as the destination

Choose Kit from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Kit.

4. Map fields

Match each Kit field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check Kit to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
