How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to Insightly

Insightly is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every Fluent Affiliate an affiliate registers or a referral is generated should flow into Insightly automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Fluent Affiliate installed and configured.
• A Insightly account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Insightly to AFI

1. Log in to your Insightly account.
2. Go to User Settings → API Key and copy it.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Insightly.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to Insightly.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select Insightly as the destination

Choose Insightly from the platform dropdown and pick Create Contact. This creates a contact in Insightly.

4. Map fields

Match each Insightly field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check Insightly to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
