How to Send Everest Forms Submissions to WhatsApp

WhatsApp is a messaging platform. Form submissions can trigger instant notifications. Every Everest Forms submission should flow into WhatsApp automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Everest Forms installed and at least one form.
• A WhatsApp account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect WhatsApp to AFI

WhatsApp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → WhatsApp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Everest Forms to WhatsApp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Everest Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select WhatsApp as the destination

Choose WhatsApp from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a WhatsApp message via the Business API.

4. Map fields

Match each WhatsApp field on the left to the corresponding Everest Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Everest Forms form and submit. Check WhatsApp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
