How to Send Everest Forms Submissions to The Events Calendar

The Events Calendar is a event management platform. Everest Forms makes it easy to build WordPress forms. Everest Forms is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting your forms to event management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Everest Forms installed and at least one form.
• A The Events Calendar account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect The Events Calendar to AFI

The Events Calendar uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → The Events Calendar, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Everest Forms to The Events Calendar.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Everest Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select The Events Calendar as the destination

Choose The Events Calendar from the platform dropdown and pick Add Event. This creates an event in The Events Calendar.

4. Map fields

Match each The Events Calendar field on the left to the corresponding Everest Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Everest Forms form and submit. Check The Events Calendar to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
