How to Send Everest Forms Submissions to Dropbox

Dropbox is a file storage platform. Everest Forms lets you create powerful forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Dropbox.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Everest Forms installed and at least one form.
• A Dropbox account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Dropbox to AFI

Dropbox uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dropbox, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Everest Forms to Dropbox.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Everest Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Dropbox as the destination

Choose Dropbox from the platform dropdown and pick Upload File. This uploads a file to Dropbox.

4. Map fields

Match each Dropbox field on the left to the corresponding Everest Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Everest Forms form and submit. Check Dropbox to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
