How to Send Email Subscribers Data to Total Expert

Connect Total Expert to AFI

Total Expert uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Total Expert, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Email Subscribers to Total Expert.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Email Subscribers as the form provider. AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription, giving you access to subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status.

3. Select Total Expert as the destination

Choose Total Expert from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Total Expert.

4. Map fields

Match each Total Expert field on the left to the corresponding Email Subscribers field on the right. Common mappings include subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Email Subscribers. Check Total Expert to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
