How to Send Email Subscribers Data to Freshsales
Freshsales is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every Email Subscribers subscriber record should flow into Freshsales automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers subscriber data straight from WordPress to Freshsales. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Email Subscribers installed and configured.
- A Freshsales account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Freshsales to AFI
- Log in to your Freshsales account.
- Copy your Subdomain and API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Freshsales.
- Enter the credentials and click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Email Subscribers to Freshsales.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Email Subscribers as the form provider. AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription, giving you access to subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status.
3. Select Freshsales as the destination
Choose Freshsales from the platform dropdown and pick Create Lead. This creates a lead in Freshsales.
4. Map fields
Match each Freshsales field on the left to the corresponding Email Subscribers field on the right. Common mappings include subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Email Subscribers. Check Freshsales to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Freshsales with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Email Subscribers events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
