How to Send Email Subscribers Data to EZ Texting
EZ Texting is a SMS marketing platform. Every Email Subscribers subscriber record should flow into EZ Texting automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers subscriber data straight from WordPress to EZ Texting. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Email Subscribers installed and configured.
- A EZ Texting account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect EZ Texting to AFI
EZ Texting uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → EZ Texting, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Email Subscribers to EZ Texting.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Email Subscribers as the form provider. AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription, giving you access to subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status.
3. Select EZ Texting as the destination
Choose EZ Texting from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to EZ Texting.
4. Map fields
Match each EZ Texting field on the left to the corresponding Email Subscribers field on the right. Common mappings include subscriber name, email, list ID, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Email Subscribers. Check EZ Texting to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps phone number and name to EZ Texting with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Email Subscribers events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a subscriber joins a list or confirms their subscription. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
