How to Send Elementor Pro Forms Submissions to Telegram
Telegram is a messaging platform. Form submissions can trigger instant notifications. Elementor Pro Forms is one of the most popular form builders for WordPress. Telegram is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Elementor Pro Forms to messaging, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Elementor Pro installed and at least one Pro Form.
- A Telegram account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Telegram to AFI
- Create a Telegram Bot via BotFather and copy the bot token.
- Start a chat with your bot and get the chat ID.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Telegram.
- Enter the bot token and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Elementor to Telegram.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Elementor Pro Form as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.
3. Select Telegram as the destination
Choose Telegram from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a message to a Telegram chat via bot.
4. Map fields
Match each Telegram field on the left to the corresponding Elementor form field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Fill out your Elementor form and submit. Check Telegram to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps message text to Telegram with unlimited submissions. Pro adds chat ID and parse mode. No per-submission fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need coding skills?
No. Everything is configured through a visual interface, including field mapping.
Will adding this slow down my form?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the form submission completes. Your visitors see the normal success message without any delay.
Can I connect multiple Elementor forms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each form, or send one form to multiple platforms.
