How to Send Easy Digital Downloads Orders to LocaliQ
LocaliQ is a lead management platform. Easy Digital Downloads handles digital product sales beautifully, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to LocaliQ.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Easy Digital Downloads to lead management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Easy Digital Downloads installed and configured.
- A LocaliQ account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect LocaliQ to AFI
- Ask your LocaliQ account team for a Lead Intake URL and Bearer token.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → LocaliQ.
- Paste the Lead Intake URL and Bearer token.
- Click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Easy Digital Downloads to LocaliQ.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Easy Digital Downloads as the form provider. AFI fires when a purchase is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, payment data, and download links.
3. Select LocaliQ as the destination
Choose LocaliQ from the platform dropdown and pick Submit Lead. This submits a lead to your LocaliQ intake URL.
4. Map fields
Match each LocaliQ field on the left to the corresponding Easy Digital Downloads field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain purchases? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync completed payments or specific products.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test purchase in your Easy Digital Downloads store. Check LocaliQ to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, phone, first name, and last name to LocaliQ with unlimited orders. Pro adds campaign ID and message field. No per-order fees on any plan.
