How to Send Easy Affiliate Data to Slack

Slack is a messaging platform. Referral events can trigger instant notifications. If you want Easy Affiliate an affiliate registers or a referral is recorded synced to Slack, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Connect Slack to AFI

Slack uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Slack, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Easy Affiliate to Slack.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Easy Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is recorded, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select Slack as the destination

Choose Slack from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a message to a Slack channel.

4. Map fields

Match each Slack field on the left to the corresponding Easy Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Easy Affiliate. Check Slack to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
