How to Send Dokan Data to Todoist

Todoist is a task management platform. If you want Dokan vendor synced to Todoist, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Connect Todoist to AFI

Todoist uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Todoist, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Todoist.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.

3. Select Todoist as the destination

Choose Todoist from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Todoist.

4. Map fields

Match each Todoist field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Todoist to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
