How to Send Dokan Data to Sender
Sender is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Dokan manages a vendor registers or a product is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Sender.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-vendor fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Dokan installed and configured.
- A Sender account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Sender to AFI
- Log in to your Sender account.
- Copy your API Key from settings.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Sender.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Sender.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.
3. Select Sender as the destination
Choose Sender from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Sender.
4. Map fields
Match each Sender field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Sender to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Sender with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Dokan events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
