How to Send Dokan Data to Mailshake
Mailshake is a email outreach platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want Dokan vendor synced to Mailshake, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Dokan to email outreach, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Dokan installed and configured.
- A Mailshake account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Mailshake to AFI
- Log in to your Mailshake account.
- Go to Settings → API and generate an API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Mailshake.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Dokan to Mailshake.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Dokan as the form provider. AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted, giving you access to vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category.
3. Select Mailshake as the destination
Choose Mailshake from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This adds a lead to a Mailshake campaign.
4. Map fields
Match each Mailshake field on the left to the corresponding Dokan field on the right. Common mappings include vendor name, email, store name, product title, and store category. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Dokan. Check Mailshake to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Mailshake with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and campaign selection. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Dokan events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a vendor registers or a product is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
