How to Send Contact Form 7 Submissions to Pardot
Pardot is a marketing automation platform. Getting Contact Form 7 data into Pardot does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
The direct approach
AFI delivers form data straight from WordPress to Pardot. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Contact Form 7 installed and at least one form.
- A Pardot account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Pardot to AFI
Pardot uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Pardot, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CF7 to Pardot.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Contact Form 7 and choose your form. Fields are detected automatically.
3. Select Pardot as the destination
Choose Pardot and pick Create Prospect. This creates a prospect in Pardot.
4. Map fields
Match each Pardot field to the corresponding Contact Form 7 field. Smart tags like {{_submission_date}} are available.
5. Add conditions if needed
Send only specific submissions based on conditional rules.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Submit a test form and verify in Pardot. Check AFI → Log if needed.
Free vs Pro
