How to Send Charitable Data to SendPulse

SendPulse is a multi-channel marketing platform. Every Charitable donation record should flow into SendPulse automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Connect SendPulse to AFI

SendPulse uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → SendPulse, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Charitable to SendPulse.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Charitable as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made through a fundraising campaign, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway.

3. Select SendPulse as the destination

Choose SendPulse from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to SendPulse.

4. Map fields

Match each SendPulse field on the left to the corresponding Charitable field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Charitable. Check SendPulse to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
