How to Send Charitable Data to Ontraport

Connect Ontraport to AFI

1. Log in to your Ontraport account.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Charitable to Ontraport.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Charitable as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made through a fundraising campaign, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway.

3. Select Ontraport as the destination

Choose Ontraport from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates or updates a contact in Ontraport.

4. Map fields

Match each Ontraport field on the left to the corresponding Charitable field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Charitable. Check Ontraport to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
