How to Send Charitable Data to Maileon
Maileon is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Charitable manages a donation is made through a fundraising campaign, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Maileon.

What you will need
- A WordPress site with Charitable installed and configured.

Connect Maileon to AFI
- Log in to your Maileon account.
- Copy your API Key from settings.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Maileon.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Charitable to Maileon.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Charitable as the form provider. AFI fires when a donation is made through a fundraising campaign, giving you access to donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway.
3. Select Maileon as the destination
Choose Maileon from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Maileon.
4. Map fields
Match each Maileon field on the left to the corresponding Charitable field on the right. Common mappings include donor name, email, donation amount, campaign ID, and gateway. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Charitable. Check Maileon to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
