How to Send CartFlows Orders to Trello
Trello is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Getting CartFlows order data into Trello does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
The direct approach
AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to Trello. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with CartFlows installed and configured.
- A Trello account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Trello to AFI
- Go to trello.com/1/appKey to get your API Key.
- Authorize and get your API Token.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Trello.
- Enter the API Key and Token, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CartFlows to Trello.
2. Pick your trigger
Select CartFlows as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Trello as the destination
Choose Trello from the platform dropdown and pick Create Card. This creates a card on a Trello board.
4. Map fields
Match each Trello field on the left to the corresponding CartFlows field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order through your CartFlows funnel. Check Trello to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps card name, description, and list to Trello with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and label assignment. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which CartFlows events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
