How to Send CartFlows Orders to Sendy
Sendy is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want CartFlows orders synced to Sendy, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting email marketing, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with CartFlows installed and configured.
- A Sendy account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Sendy to AFI
- Log in to your Sendy installation.
- Copy your API Key from the settings.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Sendy.
- Enter your Sendy URL and API Key, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CartFlows to Sendy.
2. Pick your trigger
Select CartFlows as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Sendy as the destination
Choose Sendy from the platform dropdown and pick Subscribe To List. This subscribes a contact to a Sendy list.
4. Map fields
Match each Sendy field on the left to the corresponding CartFlows field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order through your CartFlows funnel. Check Sendy to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Sendy with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom fields, GDPR flag, and silent opt-in. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which CartFlows events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
