How to Send CartFlows Orders to Sendlane
Sendlane is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. If you want CartFlows orders synced to Sendlane, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-order fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with CartFlows installed and configured.
- A Sendlane account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Sendlane to AFI
- Log in to your Sendlane account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key and Hash.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Sendlane.
- Enter the API Key, Hash, and subdomain, then click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CartFlows to Sendlane.
2. Pick your trigger
Select CartFlows as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Sendlane as the destination
Choose Sendlane from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Sendlane.
4. Map fields
Match each Sendlane field on the left to the corresponding CartFlows field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your CartFlows store. Check Sendlane to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Sendlane with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and tag assignment. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which CartFlows events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
