How to Send CartFlows Orders to Salesforce
Salesforce is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Getting CartFlows order data into Salesforce does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
The direct approach
AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to Salesforce. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with CartFlows installed and configured.
- A Salesforce account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Salesforce to AFI
Salesforce uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Salesforce, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CartFlows to Salesforce.
2. Pick your trigger
Select CartFlows as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Salesforce as the destination
Choose Salesforce from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Salesforce.
4. Map fields
Match each Salesforce field on the left to the corresponding CartFlows field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your CartFlows store. Check Salesforce to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, company, and phone to Salesforce with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and lead assignment. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which CartFlows events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
