Knack is a database platform. If you want CartFlows orders synced to Knack, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting database, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with CartFlows installed and configured.
  • A Knack account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Knack to AFI

  1. Log in to your Knack account.
  2. Copy your App ID and API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Knack.
  4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CartFlows to Knack.

2. Pick your trigger

Select CartFlows as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Knack as the destination

Choose Knack from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in a Knack app.

4. Map fields

Match each Knack field on the left to the corresponding CartFlows field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your CartFlows store. Check Knack to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps standard app fields to Knack with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which CartFlows events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
