How to Send BuddyPress Data to Discord

Connect Discord to AFI

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyPress to Discord.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Discord as the destination

Choose Discord from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a message to a Discord channel.

4. Map fields

Match each Discord field on the left to the corresponding BuddyPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyPress. Check Discord to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
