How to Send BuddyPress Data to Adobe Campaign

Connect Adobe Campaign to AFI

Adobe Campaign uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Adobe Campaign, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyPress to Adobe Campaign.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Adobe Campaign as the destination

Choose Adobe Campaign from the platform dropdown and pick Create Profile. This creates a profile in Adobe Campaign.

4. Map fields

Match each Adobe Campaign field on the left to the corresponding BuddyPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyPress. Check Adobe Campaign to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
