Zoho Sheet is a spreadsheets platform. BuddyBoss powers your WordPress community. Zoho Sheet is where member data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-registration fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with BuddyBoss installed and configured.
  • A Zoho Sheet account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Zoho Sheet to AFI

Zoho Sheet uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Sheet, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Zoho Sheet.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Zoho Sheet as the destination

Choose Zoho Sheet from the platform dropdown and pick Add Row. This adds a row to a Zoho Sheet.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho Sheet field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Zoho Sheet to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps standard column data to Zoho Sheet with unlimited events. Pro adds custom column mapping. No per-event fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which BuddyBoss events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group. This covers member registrations, profile updates, and group joins.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the community event completes. Your members are not affected.

Can I send member data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
