How to Send BuddyBoss Data to Nimble
Nimble is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every BuddyBoss a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group should flow into Nimble automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers member and activity data straight from WordPress to Nimble. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with BuddyBoss installed and configured.
- A Nimble account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Nimble to AFI
- Log in to your Nimble account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Token.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Nimble.
- Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Nimble.
2. Pick your trigger
Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.
3. Select Nimble as the destination
Choose Nimble from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Nimble.
4. Map fields
Match each Nimble field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Nimble to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Nimble with unlimited events. Pro adds custom field mapping and tags. No per-event fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which BuddyBoss events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group. This covers member registrations, profile updates, and group joins.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the community event completes. Your members are not affected.
Can I send member data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
