How to Send BuddyBoss Data to Crisp

Crisp is a live chat platform. Member events can trigger instant notifications. If you want BuddyBoss activity in Crisp, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Connect Crisp to AFI

Crisp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Crisp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Crisp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Crisp as the destination

Choose Crisp from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Crisp.

4. Map fields

Match each Crisp field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Crisp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
