How to Send Bookly Data to sevdesk
sevdesk is an accounting platform for managing finances. If you want Bookly appointment synced to sevdesk, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Bookly to accounting, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Bookly installed and configured.
- A sevdesk account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect sevdesk to AFI
sevdesk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → sevdesk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to sevdesk.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.
3. Select sevdesk as the destination
Choose sevdesk from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in sevdesk.
4. Map fields
Match each sevdesk field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check sevdesk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name and email to sevdesk with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Bookly events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an appointment is booked. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
