How to Send Bookly Data to Resend
Resend is a email delivery platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Bookly manages an appointment is booked, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Resend.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-appointment fees, no external dependencies.

- A Resend account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Resend to AFI
- Log in to your Resend account.
- Copy your API Key from settings.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Resend.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Resend.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.
3. Select Resend as the destination
Choose Resend from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Resend.
4. Map fields
Match each Resend field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Resend to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Resend with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
