Zoho Desk is a helpdesk platform. ARForms manages a form is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zoho Desk.

Why connect directly?

Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-submission fees, no external dependencies.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with ARForms installed and configured.
  • A Zoho Desk account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Zoho Desk to AFI

Zoho Desk uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Desk, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it ARForms to Zoho Desk.

2. Pick your trigger

Select ARForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Zoho Desk as the destination

Choose Zoho Desk from the platform dropdown and pick Add Ticket. This creates a ticket in Zoho Desk.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho Desk field on the left to the corresponding ARForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in ARForms. Check Zoho Desk to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps subject, description, email, and name to Zoho Desk with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and department selection. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which ARForms events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a form is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
