Groundhagg is a platform platform. If you want Quill Forms submission synced to Groundhagg, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting Quill Forms to platform, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Quill Forms installed and configured.
  • A Groundhagg account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Groundhagg to AFI

Groundhagg uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Groundhagg, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Quill Forms to Groundhagg.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Quill Forms as the form provider. AFI fires when a conversational form is completed, giving you access to respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers.

3. Select Groundhagg as the destination

Choose Groundhagg from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Groundhagg.

4. Map fields

Match each Groundhagg field on the left to the corresponding Quill Forms field on the right. Common mappings include respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Quill Forms. Check Groundhagg to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to Groundhagg with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
