How to Send Quill Forms Data to Constant Contact
Constant Contact is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Quill Forms manages a conversational form is completed, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Constant Contact.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Quill Forms to email marketing, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Quill Forms installed and configured.
- A Constant Contact account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Constant Contact to AFI
Constant Contact uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Constant Contact, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Quill Forms to Constant Contact.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Quill Forms as the form provider. AFI fires when a conversational form is completed, giving you access to respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers.
3. Select Constant Contact as the destination
Choose Constant Contact from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Constant Contact.
4. Map fields
Match each Constant Contact field on the left to the corresponding Quill Forms field on the right. Common mappings include respondent name, email, phone, and any custom form answers. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Quill Forms. Check Constant Contact to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Constant Contact with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
