How to Send Bookly Data to Twilio

Twilio is a SMS and voice platform. Here is how to pipe Bookly appointment straight into Twilio using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

What you will need

Connect Twilio to AFI

1. Get your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token.
2. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Twilio.
3. Enter the SID and Token.
4. Click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Bookly to Twilio.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Bookly as the form provider. AFI fires when an appointment is booked, giving you access to customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time.

3. Select Twilio as the destination

Choose Twilio from the platform dropdown and pick Send SMS. This sends an SMS via Twilio.

4. Map fields

Match each Twilio field on the left to the corresponding Bookly field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, service name, staff member, appointment date, and time. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Bookly. Check Twilio to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
