How to Send FluentCRM Data to Personio
Personio is a HR platform. Getting FluentCRM contact into Personio does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to HR. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCRM installed and configured.
- A Personio account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Personio to AFI
Personio uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Personio, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCRM to Personio.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCRM as the form provider. AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied, giving you access to contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values.
3. Select Personio as the destination
Choose Personio from the platform dropdown and pick Add Employee. This creates an employee record in Personio.
4. Map fields
Match each Personio field on the left to the corresponding FluentCRM field on the right. Common mappings include contact name, email, phone, tags, and custom field values. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in FluentCRM. Check Personio to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Personio with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which FluentCRM events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a contact submits a form or a tag is applied. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
