ServiceM8 is a field service management platform. Getting weForms submission into ServiceM8 does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

The direct approach

AFI delivers submission data straight from WordPress to ServiceM8. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
  • A ServiceM8 account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect ServiceM8 to AFI

  1. Log in to your ServiceM8 account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and generate API credentials.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → ServiceM8.
  4. Enter the credentials and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to ServiceM8.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select ServiceM8 as the destination

Choose ServiceM8 from the platform dropdown and pick Add Job. This creates a job in ServiceM8.

4. Map fields

Match each ServiceM8 field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check ServiceM8 to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name, email, phone, and address to ServiceM8 with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping and job status. No per-record fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which weForms events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a form is submitted. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.

Can I send data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
