How to Send weForms Data to Planhat

Planhat is a customer success platform. If you want weForms submission synced to Planhat, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
• A Planhat account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Planhat to AFI

1. Log in to your Planhat account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Planhat.
4. Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to Planhat.

2. Pick your trigger

Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.

3. Select Planhat as the destination

Choose Planhat from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Planhat.

4. Map fields

Match each Planhat field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check Planhat to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
