How to Send weForms Data to monday.com
monday.com is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. weForms manages a form is submitted, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to monday.com.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting weForms to project management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with weForms installed and configured.
- A monday.com account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect monday.com to AFI
monday.com uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → monday.com, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it weForms to monday.com.
2. Pick your trigger
Select weForms as the form provider. AFI fires when a form is submitted, giving you access to submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields.
3. Select monday.com as the destination
Choose monday.com from the platform dropdown and pick Create Item. This creates an item on a monday.com board.
4. Map fields
Match each monday.com field on the left to the corresponding weForms field on the right. Common mappings include submitter name, email, phone, and any custom form fields. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in weForms. Check monday.com to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name and description to monday.com with unlimited records. Pro adds custom column mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which weForms events trigger the integration?

Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
