How to Send MemberPress Data to Freshsales
Freshsales is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every MemberPress membership record should flow into Freshsales automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers membership data straight from WordPress to Freshsales. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with MemberPress installed and configured.
- A Freshsales account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Freshsales to AFI
- Log in to your Freshsales account.
- Copy your Subdomain and API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Freshsales.
- Enter the credentials and click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it MemberPress to Freshsales.
2. Pick your trigger
Select MemberPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers or a subscription transaction completes, giving you access to member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status.
3. Select Freshsales as the destination
Choose Freshsales from the platform dropdown and pick Create Lead. This creates a lead in Freshsales.
4. Map fields
Match each Freshsales field on the left to the corresponding MemberPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, membership level, transaction amount, and subscription status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain records? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in MemberPress. Check Freshsales to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Freshsales with unlimited records. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-record fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which MemberPress events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a member registers or a subscription transaction completes. This covers new submissions and relevant status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every record flows to all of them simultaneously.
