How to Send BuddyBoss Data to Follow Up Boss
Follow Up Boss is a real estate CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. BuddyBoss manages a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Follow Up Boss.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting your community platform to real estate CRM, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with BuddyBoss installed and configured.
- A Follow Up Boss account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Follow Up Boss.
2. Pick your trigger
Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.
3. Select Follow Up Boss as the destination
Choose Follow Up Boss from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Follow Up Boss.
4. Map fields
Match each Follow Up Boss field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Follow Up Boss to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Follow Up Boss with unlimited events. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-event fees on any plan.
