How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to Elasticemail

Elasticemail is a platform platform. Here is how to pipe LifterLMS data straight into Elasticemail using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.
• A Elasticemail account.

Connect Elasticemail to AFI

Elasticemail uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Elasticemail, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Elasticemail.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Elasticemail as the destination

Choose Elasticemail from the platform dropdown and pick Add Record. This creates a record in Elasticemail.

4. Map fields

Match each Elasticemail field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Elasticemail to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
