How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to beehiiv

beehiiv is a newsletter platform platform. Every LifterLMS enrollment should flow into beehiiv automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.
• A beehiiv account.

Connect beehiiv to AFI

1. Log in to your beehiiv account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → beehiiv.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to beehiiv.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select beehiiv as the destination

Choose beehiiv from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to beehiiv.

4. Map fields

Match each beehiiv field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check beehiiv to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
