How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Teamwork

Teamwork is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Every LearnDash enrollment should flow into Teamwork automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to project management. No task meter, no monthly bill.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.
• A Teamwork account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Teamwork to AFI

Teamwork uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Teamwork, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Teamwork.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Teamwork as the destination

Choose Teamwork from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Teamwork.

4. Map fields

Match each Teamwork field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Teamwork to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
