How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to MailRelay

MailRelay is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Getting LearnDash enrollment data into MailRelay does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

What you will need

Connect MailRelay to AFI

1. Log in to your MailRelay account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → MailRelay.
4. Paste the API Key and your account name, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to MailRelay.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select MailRelay as the destination

Choose MailRelay from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to a MailRelay list.

4. Map fields

Match each MailRelay field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check MailRelay to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
