How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Employment Hero

Employment Hero is a HR platform. LearnDash manages a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Employment Hero.

Connect Employment Hero to AFI

Employment Hero uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Employment Hero, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Employment Hero.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Employment Hero as the destination

Choose Employment Hero from the platform dropdown and pick Add Employee. This creates an employee in Employment Hero.

4. Map fields

Match each Employment Hero field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Employment Hero to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
