ClickUp is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Here is how to pipe FluentCart order data straight into ClickUp using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

Skip the automation middleman

Rather than routing order data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to project management. No task meter, no monthly bill.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
  • A ClickUp account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect ClickUp to AFI

  1. Log in to your ClickUp account.
  2. Go to Settings → Apps → API and copy your API Token.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → ClickUp.
  4. Paste the Token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to ClickUp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select ClickUp as the destination

Choose ClickUp from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in ClickUp.

4. Map fields

Match each ClickUp field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check ClickUp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and description to ClickUp with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and list selection. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an order is placed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
