How to Send SureCart Orders to Insightly

Insightly is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every SureCart order should flow into Insightly automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

What you will need

• A WordPress site with SureCart installed and configured.
• A Insightly account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Insightly to AFI

1. Log in to your Insightly account.
2. Go to User Settings → API Key and copy it.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Insightly.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SureCart to Insightly.

2. Pick your trigger

Select SureCart as the form provider. AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Insightly as the destination

Choose Insightly from the platform dropdown and pick Create Contact. This creates a contact in Insightly.

4. Map fields

Match each Insightly field on the left to the corresponding SureCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your SureCart store. Check Insightly to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
