How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Sarbacane

Sarbacane is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every FormCraft submission should flow into Sarbacane without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers form data straight from WordPress to Sarbacane. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Sarbacane account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Sarbacane to AFI

Sarbacane uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Sarbacane, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Sarbacane.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Sarbacane as the destination

Choose Sarbacane from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Sarbacane.

4. Map fields

Match each Sarbacane field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Sarbacane to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
